The Glean webhook app for Confluence Cloud sends webhooks back to Glean for certain events. For instance, if a user edits a confluence page, it sends a webhook event which triggers the crawler to fetch this page. This keeps the page updated in Glean search.
To make the search highly personalized, it also sends the Confluence app native activity signals to understand the relevance of the document for the user and based on that it proactively suggests content in the search that the user might be interested in. This not only improves the user search experience but provides the most relevant information at a glance for the user without scrolling the search page which further reduces the user time spent for a particular search.
