If you'd prefer a desktop experience, you can get the Glean desktop app (works for Mac, Windows, and Linux). Glean will not search over content on your desktop.

To download the desktop app, click on your face in the upper right hand corner. In the menu that appears, click Your settings.

Then, on "Your settings", click on Get desktop app in the left hand navigation.

Click on the Download app button in the center of the screen. You'll then see a dialog pop up in your browser prompting you to install.

The Glean app will then appear in your dock. On Windows, the app will be in the Start menu.
